This 20-minute workout will actually make those lunch exercise plans happen

While lack of motivation might stop some from getting their sweat on every day, some of us simply don’t have the time. House chores, work, looking after the kids, making sure dinner is on the table –before you know it, it’s 9pm and the last thing you want to do is go for a run.

But according to ION’s coaching director, Rhys Pritchard, it doesn’t have to be that way. All you need is a solid 20 minutes – not a minute over – to actually burn fat and stay slim. FYI that is 0.0139 of a day.

Plus, you can also forget about having to buy any gym equipment. You can literally do this workout in the middle of your office while you wait for your lunch to heat up.

Easier said than done? No, it’s actually easier done than said.

4 ROUNDS OF MAXIMUM EFFORTS

Complete full circuit of 5 movements as “one round”

Work 45 seconds / rest 15 seconds

1. Max reps – shoulder taps whilst holding a plank

2. Max reps – bodyweight jump squats

3. Max reps – burpees

4. Max reps – sit ups

5. Max reps – reverse lunges

There’s also a workout that burns fat 36 hours after you finish the class. if you don’t have time to go to the gym during your lunch break, this is how you can burn over 100 calories without leaving the office.
